Set directly between the end of Black Widow and the beginning of Infinity War - I've done my best to keep this within the real timeline. Slow burn Blackhill but worth the wait.
Natasha returns to what's left of Shield after making a deal with Ross, much to Maria's relief, happy to have her old friend back. While out on a mission, they come across something that neither of them ever expected to find, a scared gifted child. Not allowing her to remain trapped in a lab, Natasha rescues the young girl and they start their own adventure with Natasha taking on more responsibility than she ever thought she would. But how long before the person that created her comes knocking?
