An Unexpected Life...

"You came back to me" He whispers in a raspy voice as soon as we departed, his forehead against mine, eyes still closed, the both of us panting.

"I promised you that I would find my way back to you, one way or another" I told him, repeating to him what I promised him. I opened my eyes, just admiring him.

"You know I love you right?" He asked, opening his eyes after a few moments.

"Yes, and I love you more"

"I doubt that" He whispers with a small smile.
