Itachi, who is already used to getting lost for days in the northern lands to disconnect from his harsh reputation as a serial killer, discovers by chance that the remote Tomioka clan is real. The Tomioka are an ancient pacifist family that lives on the boundary of the shinobi world, and they exist to mourn the souls of dead people to return their chakras, powers, and even Kekkei Genkai, to the world of the living. Itachi is fascinated by the sobs of one of them, Kaede, and she ends up agreeing to make a contract with him in which she can cry for the Uchiha clan and give them rest. The contract seems to end at that goal, but the Tomioka clan hides many more secrets than Itachi expected. ---- Playlist vibes: 2000s pop/rock slowed (La Oreja de Van Gogh, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Cigarettes After Sex, etc.) ---- Warnings: violence, murders, suicides, thriller and tragedy ---- Members of the Tomioka clan: OCs The rest: from Mr. Kishimoto
