There were two main reasons why Kaede was so powerful.

One of them was her obvious talent, both physically and strategically. The other was that Itachi was an intense and ruthless master who had no mercy for her unless he thought she had had enough.

There were many occasions in which the Uchiha broke the girl's nose with a single blow, or left her half-dying on the ground.

But Tomioka rose, even on the verge of unconsciousness, to confront him. She was usually smiling, with her blood slipping between her teeth and her tears falling down her chin, creating a disturbingly contradictory look.

She also didn't want Itachi to find out about the times she trained while she was on her period. The boy would not hesitate to attack her lower abdomen until he knocked her down, even if she screamed in pain.

Kaede understood. If Itachi showed the slightest bit of mercy towards her, he was condemning her to maintain that old mindless behavior where she neither knew nor feared danger.

Tomioka had long understood that a serious opponent would not hesitate to sweep the floor with her, even if she were a woman, and if having her period was a weakness that somebody could use against her, it would do so happily. That's how things worked.

Therefore, despite the intense ovarian pain that the teenager felt, she had had to resort to all possible remedies so that it would never show itself to the naked eye. Natural ginger teas worked very well with her.

Kaede left the canteen with te ginger tea next to her and put herself on guard again, ignoring her intense pain and concentrating on the three clones of Itachi who were waiting patiently for her attack.

The girl spun the three-pole nunchaku in the air and ran towards them in a straight line, but before attacking them three of her own clones appeared behind Itachi's and hit them skull with the same weapon.

Two of her clones took care of the other two of his, while she and the third clone of her attacked the middle one fiercely. The seven figures moved with almost superhuman speed, Itachi's dressed in black sweatshirts and Kaede's in white long-sleeved t-shirts, creating lights and shadows on the snow.

A fourth clone of the Uchiha monitored the scene without intervening, since he was in charge of informing the result to the original body while he was in his meeting with Akatsuki.

Kaede's clones were taken down, and now it was a hand-to-hand combat between her alone and two of the remaining clones of her. However, the Tomioka defended herself skillfully. The nunchaku moved around her hands like an extension of her muscles, attacking with sharp blows.

Any other clone would have been long gone, but Itachi's were annoyingly resilient.

Kaede continued to attack again and again, gasping with rage and wanting to finally get rid of them, but her blows became increasingly clumsy and irregular. Her ovarian pain was present again, this time with nausea and dizziness, and she doubted that she could last much longer.

One of Itachi's clones took the nunchaku from her and the other kicked her in the stomach, sending the teenager to the ground and dragging her several meters across.

The Tomioka gritted her teeth helplessly and began to hit the ground with her fist until she bled. She couldn't suppress her screams of frustration or her tears of rage. She had the feeling that no matter how hard she tried, the reality was that due to biology a man like Itachi would always be physically more capable than her, and he would never have her hormonal problems.

One of the Uchiha clones crouched down next to her and hugged her in his arms, taking her blows to his chest as well. The second clone brushed the girl's hair out of her face, and the one in charge of her also approached.
