A Heart's Price

Since the oceans spread to the edges of the world and the raised lands rose from their dark depths, humans and the kingdom's of Mer have always been in conflict. After a deadly assassination, tensions rise and Prince Adonis' life is completely changed when a handsome sailor boy washes onto the shores of Mer. When the sailor boy is held hostage for ransom, Adonis is tasked with making their kingdom's guest feel at home. But as political threats rise and the promise of war looms, Adonis finds himself falling for the sailor boys charms.
