ITS3 William Haslinger is one of three specialized information systems technicians. Trained in Communications, the young submariner is assigned to a special projects boat named the USS Interceptor. Under the command of Commander Steven Alexander, he and 90 of the United States Navy's finest set course on a mission to disperse the next generation of SOSUS relays around the coast of Malaysia.

Isolated and separated from the world above, the Interceptor sails into the darkness below...
