Moss Kettler has always been overshadowed by his impressive younger brothers. After graduating college, Moss falls into a quiet life working for an accounting firm in Detroit, Michigan. Meanwhile, his youngest brother, Eli, has recently been drafted to play on the same NHL team as middle child, Shane. With two out of three Kettler boys now playing professional hockey, Moss comes to the realization that his family may not have as much interest in him in comparison. Throughout the hockey season, Moss' theory is validated by his once close-knit family. As he begins to accept his ostracization, a star defenseman swoops in to show Moss the true meaning of sportsmanship (and love).
