I Woke Up in the Alola Region!

Duncan Baxter is a major fan of Pokemon and his current favourite Pokémon anime series is the Sun and Moon series. However, Duncan didn't exactly have a very good childhood which was due to his father constantly abusing him both physically and emotionally.

But one day, after taking a serious and a rather violent beating from his father, Duncan sadly and unfortunately dies from his injuries and due to heavy bleeding. However, he soon wakes up, only to now find himself floating in a black void where he meets the Normal-type Mythical Pokémon known as Arceus who promises to give him another chance in life by kindly reincarnating him into the Alola Region in the Pokémon world whilst also allowing Duncan to take most of his Pokémon that have a G-Max Form with him. Upon being reincarnated, Duncan finds himself washed up on Mele Mele Island where he realises that Ash hasn't even arrived yet. Duncan eventually begins his journey around the entire Alola region, go to Pokémon school with classmates Lillie, Lana, Mallow, Kiawe, Sophocles, participate in the island trials, and learn how to use the power of Z-moves.
