Ruby and the Blue Flames

Erisalyn Loaalies, a skilled swordswoman with a rare inherited ability, feels unnoticed in her noble family. Her mother, Lady Meribeth, arranges for her to study under Lady Aleina Brycg, a renowned mage from Ionstail. Initially resistant, Eris meets Lady Aleina, who sees potential in her abilities. Encouraged by Lady Aleina and conflicted reactions from her family, Eris decides to embark on a journey with her mentor. This marks the beginning of Eris's quest for self-discovery and recognition beyond the confines of her family's and society's expectations.
