In a quiet corner of England lies an ancient castle shrouded in myth and legend. In a world of anthropomorphic animals and tightly regulated magic, the resident Warlock family have always been seen as a strange bunch - which is certainly saying something; associated with dragons, powerful mages and magnificent flying horses, they're best left alone. Mortimer Warlock has undertaken the task of renovating the crumbling building in his twilight years, but when an emergency call comes through from an old friend he soon learns that you are never too old for an adventure.
