Miraculous: Quantic teens (Miraculous Ladybug rewrite/au)

In a world riddled with deception, where manipulation and grand schemes abound, two heroes must uncover every hidden truth and resist becoming pawns in the game orchestrated by the formidable leader of Perque, known as Le Papillon. Can they resist the pull of darkness and stay united until the end? Perque's influence runs deeper than anyone realizes, and its leader conceals vital information about a mysterious Overlord, whom the organization's members unknowingly serve.

One day, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a kind-hearted teenage girl, discovers a pair of magical earrings that transform her into Ladybug, a superhero endowed with the powers of luck and creation. Meanwhile Félix Sphinx, a teenage boy, stumbles upon a magical ring that curses him with the powers of misfortune and destruction, turning him into the black cat-themed superhero, Chat Noir. The curse of misfortune can only be broken by true love.

Chosen by the kwami and the guardian, Ladybug and Chat Noir must unite to stop the looming threat and protect Paris from the forces of evil.

Wip. Miraculous Ladybug is a show, framed for younger audiences, lighthearted and quite problematic. The fanfiction intentionally takes an opposite approach, with Le Papillon and his followers emerging as a genuine, menace, turning the heroes' lives into a relentless nightmare.
