/English is not my first language, and I am getting back into writing after a while, but I hope people will resonate with my short work./ The realization of never truly knowing yourself because childhood or teenage trauma took a part of you that you were never even aware of. You can't quite pinpoint what's wrong, but one day, in your mid-twenties, a stream of consciousness will hit you-whether in the middle of dinner or a university class-and you will realize... you will know that something is missing.
