    Over half a century ago, the world was introduced to Elementals -- a new race of humans, gifted with special abilities to help restore the Earth to its former glory. Now, they rule kingdoms scattered around the world, using their gifts to help their societies. 
    But now, it is coming time for their children to take over...and they could use some help...to say the least. 
    This story centers around Renee Starling, Princess of Novaria and daughter of the late Queen Nebula and King Atlas. Her childhood is nothing but a foggy memory, but after her coronation, bits and pieces begin to string together. 
    After learning about the tragic murder of her parents, Renee sets off to the Kingdom of Valon to avenge their death and save the hostage Prince, in perfect fairytale fashion. Except, Renee's life is not a fairytale, and in real life, it is much more difficult to save a Prince than the books make it seem. Discovering life altering secrets and facing moral dilemmas that concern the safety of her own kingdom, she teams up with Prince Chase to begin a new wave of Elemental intervention -- The Second Generation.
