Sylvie is a senior (technically. She should have graduated, and would have if it weren't for her steadily declining grades.) As of now, she's a complete social outcast, except for her best friend Kelsey (who seems more interested in boys than in being even a decent friend to Sylvie.)

The only thing she finds comfort in is music, and when she meets the lead singer of her favorite band while skipping class to get coffee, it completely changes her outlook on life.
