The Queen and her supporters are swiftly gathering allies, but the Princess needs a stronger fortification by her side to support her claim, so she sends word to her uncle Daemon, who refused her beck and call, but when she sends word to her love interest. The dragon awakens. When Klaus Targaryen returns from victory in the Stepstones to King's Landing, he discovers his beloved niece surrounded by a court of vipers, chief amongst them was his former lover Queen Alicent Hightower and her father, Otto Hightower.
