Aurora Starr is becoming a very popular girl at her high school after the captain of the football team, Adam Parker, and Aurora start dating. Another boy on the football team, Calum Hood, is her best friend. He doesn't seem to like their relationship very much, but Aurora doesn't know why. Adam is the best boyfriend for her, or so she thought. Calum helps Aurora through the ups and downs of the relationship, yet she begins to drift away from Calum, due to popularity. Being so popular is a surprise to Aurora, but she likes it. Things start getting worse for Aurora, only leading her to realize she has been wrong the whole time.
