Easton is half Human half Fire Spirit. Gramps tells him that the outside world is dangerous so instead of playing outside, Easton searches the many hallways and rooms in Gramps manor. But when his stuffed owl comes to life and yearns to go to the outside world Easton leaves his home and embarks and a magical adventure with an owl that hides secrets, and a strange wooden sword found in Gramps attic.
