When a young girl was found dead in local woods, all fingers had wrongly pointed at the different, but entirely innocent, Dale. A gentle soul, with the mind of an eight year old, Dale's mother had always protected him from the small minds of those who never took the time to understand her only son. She lovingly sheltered her boy from their cruel words and their spiteful actions towards him, but when she suddenly died, Dale was left all alone and left so vulnerable and unprotected without his devoted mum. So when that poor girl was killed, all suspicions quickly fell on the totally misunderstood Dale. Those suspicions got out of hand. Those suspicions were what made a small group of accusing and narrow minded villagers to deal with Dale in their own and prejudiced way. But they went too far. Dale was brutally murdered by them, and before they did, they had cruelly taunted him about his beloved mothers collection of dolls. As he took his final breath, Dale clung to his mothers most favourite doll as he closed his eyes on this world for the very last time. Dale was gone......or maybe he wasn't?
