JUN Q 's POV : "Beep"! I take a look at my smart watch and it's a reminder for the appointment with the principle. I jog downstairs while trying to flung my earphones and device into my bag when something rather somebody's head hits my chest. My device gets tossed up in the air and the girl in front of me, about to fall backward. Calculations strike my mind as I analyse the situation. The angle between the step and the girl is lesser than acute, so the tan degree is more hence the consequences of falling backward are severe. The phone is an average acceleration which would take two seconds to reach its maximum gravity so one arrow winkle two sparrows. I lean forward and grab my device with one hand and the other slides behind the girl's back to prevent her from the awful fall. I grab hold of my device and then I feel the grip on my collar and being pulled in closer to the girl. SOWON 's POV : My body froze for a fleeting moment and then I notice him graving his phone. Inhumane jerk. I grab his collar and pull myself up but me being a klutz, stumble forward and in less than a second.. JUN Q ' s POV : What the fuck ! I look down into her eyes and her lip land on mine. Seriously? Hi, A few years back I began my blogger's journey. Now it's time when I archive them all here and share with you all. But before that let me do the little formality and introduce you the blogger, the writer, the artist behind this all. Hey I'm Ocean, a dreamy girl, who has completed her college studies of fashion designing from a few years back and then stepped into the writing world. Though writing was already a big part of me since my school days, but now it has become a professional practice too. Other than writing and designing, I pretty much like photography and travelling. And the things which I love to do in my free time is dancing, listening to music - hindi classicals, qawwali, ghazal, indie-pop or fusions are my favourite, other than that watching movies/series - Classics, Rom-Com, Action, Thrill, Sci-Fi - ALL! and studying film-making. Behind the scenes always hit different to me. So, the big question! What this blog archive is about? And the answer is - it's about all those things which interests me and how I have worked around it and published them as blogs. Yes, it includes everything, things I just mentioned above. And all the things I find fascinating, the things I write about, think about and feel about. The things we share with people and the things which we do not share with people. The model introduced by Daniel Goleman[52] focuses on EI as a wide array of competencies and skills that drive leadership performance. Goleman's model outlines five main EI constructs (for more details see "What Makes A Leader" by Daniel Goleman, best of Harvard Business Review 1998): Self-awareness - the ability to know one's emotions, strengths, weaknesses, drives, values and goals and recognize their impact on others while using gut feelings to guide decisions. Goleman includes a set of emotional competencies within each construct of EI. Emotional competencies are not innate talents, but rather learned capabilities that must be worked on and can be developed to achieve outstanding performance. Goleman posits that individuals are born with a general emotional intelligence that determines their potential for learning emotional competencies.[53] Goleman's model of EI has been criticized in the research literature as mere "pop psychology" (Mayer, Roberts, & Barsade, 2008).

Not all feelings are pleasant. If you are feeling deeply sad or hurt, it's ok. Sit with yourself and create the space to listen to your feelings, with love. You need to validate what you are feeling in the moment without trying to fix yourself. You don't need other people to validate your emotions. The same thing applies when dealing with another person. Nobody can feel better right away. We all need to feel the truth of our emotions first, before we can heal. Society, through all the advertisements in a success driven culture easily programs us with quick fix solutions. So, we are taught to repress what we feel. I have spent my entire life repressing emotions because people around me didn't understand how emotions work. Sadly, for most humans, who live in a materialistic World, emotions are not that important. In reality, however, humans are extremely emotional. Actually, everything we do in life is to 'feel' good and happy. So, you need to respect your own emotions and those of your friends and family. You can never experience the richness of life if all you do is spend your entire life using logic to solve all your problems. You need to feel life deeply, not just think about it.
