Mary Pemberton was no supermodel. In fact at five foot one, she was quite short for her eighteen years of age. Plus crooked glasses and a nonexistent chest area, she was often mistaken as one of the boys. Her short and messy haircut didn’t help her femininity either, well if she had any to begin with that is. With a rough childhood, Mary vowed to never let the past affect her. Passing each day with a smile was her strategy, it always worked - well until Victor Wilde came along. The school's resident bad boy with his sexily tousled auburn hair, chilling gray eyes and obnoxiously cold personality, he grinded on her nerves like a cheesegrater. But who Mary admired, wasn't Victor. Instead it was his best friend, Marc St James. Tall and handsome with blonde hair and dark blue eyes, he was the school's prince charming.
