This is a new story written by Advisor for Pen Your Pride for Pride Month Living in a family of homophobes is hard enough, but being gay in that homophobic family? Your life becomes a living hell. This is the story of how one boy who grew up with rainbows on dart boards meets a new friend. A friend who can help him realize that no matter who he is, he is loved and important. The scenario is based off of a true story, most everything else is made up fiction. Also please keep in mind that this is from the perspective of someone who was raised as a die-hard homophobe. (Like I was) Apologies in advance if there's anything here that's too offensive. If you like find something over the top and you're about to blow your top over it please tell me. Just a small story to explain myself and my life so far.

Just random free verse poetry I want to share with you. These been a lot on my mind as of late and I have no real outlet to release.
