This is a new story written by Advisor for Pen Your Pride for Pride Month Living in a family of homophobes is hard enough, but being gay in that homophobic family? Your life becomes a living hell. This is the story of how one boy who grew up with rainbows on dart boards meets a new friend. A friend who can help him realize that no matter who he is, he is loved and important. The scenario is based off of a true story, most everything else is made up fiction. Also please keep in mind that this is from the perspective of someone who was raised as a die-hard homophobe. (Like I was) Apologies in advance if there's anything here that's too offensive. If you like find something over the top and you're about to blow your top over it please tell me.
