Short story I wrote for mi padre for Christmas.

A heart-touching short-story about a 16-year old boy who falls in love and doesn't think he deserves it.

Before you dismiss this, hear me out! I am Nicky, an aspiring author who just like many others out there, has her own creative mind which she would like to unleash. But when you want to improve, you need both critisism and support. So here I am, putting my creations out for all you guys to read and give me your opinion and views. Ofcourse, this is my journey to be an artist...using a powerful tool called words, which can also be a lethal weapon if used properly. Also, I don't know if there will be any stories...maybe short stories. Like a one shot? But I assure you, there will be a lot of...interesting poems, verses etc. I write songs too...but most of the times, its just a para or a few lines. There are also paragraphs of my critical analysis or just my way of thinking. A point of view. I hope you'll enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoy writing them.

Romance

The mind is a strange martyr, fighting on in silence as the world around them grows beyond their capabilities. Even in death, the mind lives on. Creating fantasy gardens and distant campaigns, where people can reinvent the truth. Death becomes light, acceptance becomes darkness. In this garden, a paladin finds acceptance in the fate he received. To live out eternity beside his cleric, a boy he couldn't reach when his heart was still beating. Or The body found in lover's lake was Will's actual body- dead. Micheal Wheeler falls into a coma after jumping off the ledge, El didn't save him this time. They find each other again, in death.

As a twenty seven year old mother today I struggle with understanding my place when it comes to the Bible and how I can contribute without undermining, or trying decipher something.

Crystal is a very lively person, she's loved by everybody and described as the sun of the friend group. She's the life of the party and always knows how to cheer someone up. When crystal walks into the room, the tension decreases. Dandelion is the opposite. She keeps to herself and doesn't like to interact. At parties she sits in the corner and either draws or reads a book. No one ever really notices her unless they look closely.
