I'd recommend reading the manga over the anime. It is well laid out and has great art as well.

@Sapphire_2721 Luv Akatsuki no Yona manga~ Fairytail was the third anime I've ever watched, but it's animation quality dropped a lot towards the tournament arc thing...

@Sapphire_2721 My favourites are Akatsuki no Yona, Kamisama hajimemashita, Skip beat! (I prefer the mangas over the anime) as all of them have a strong female lead. I loved Fairytail, up until its unsatisfactory ending, like seriously, every other couple had to happen except the main one.
