          	ok so theres this guy and hes so so cute and so tall and so funny and so mindful of my space and i think he likes me and basically took me out on an unofficial date yesterday and i think im going crazy and i have butterflies in my stomach like all the time omg idk what to do

my friend just defended our classmate getting engaged to be married (arranged marriage btw) at 20 when I said they're raised to be without any ambitions so that their parents can do whatever they want with her life... not kidding she genuinely said but girls can still fulfill their ambitions after marriage??? girl do you know where you live??
          
          I'm honestly questioning if I just wasted 3 years of friendship with someone who doesn't believe in basic rights for women...

            first off, who marries at 20? Like that's the age you're supposed to be studying and getting internships.
