♛ I just think it's a crime that the Batfamily spent 60+ years doing backflips and midair splits to dodge being a traditional family, only to be pigeonholed into nuclear parent-children-sibling dynamics. I'm never letting go of the complex, varied, 4-in-1 interpersonal found family dynamics of the 80s-2000s.

♛ Anyone who tells you to read comics for yourself and form your own opinions is your friend btw. Literally nothing has been more effective at highlighting how bad media illiteracy is in the Batfandom than casually reading comics and stumbling across the context for stuff I've seen in the fandom. Genuinely killed my ability to trust any take on any comic I haven't read myself.
