I'm just popping back for a moment to tell anyone who pays attention to these announcements on Wattpad that Ledgisimo (as you might be already aware of from how much fanart they've made for Daybreak's Crest) recently posted a fanfiction (can you even call it fanfiction? Fanfiction of an original story? I mean, I guess that's how fanfiction works... anyway!) of Hercules from Daybreak's Crest. 
          	
          	We'd talked briefly about Hercules and his potential origins before, but I still can't believe that they were kind enough to actually write it all out in an actual story. Please go check it out! (I'm not sure how Wattpad handles links but I'll put it below.) It's such a good story and the writing, tone, and just everything is great, and without spoiling anything for the first chapter, reading it was like a punch to the gut.

Thanks also for voting and leaving wonderful comments on the fanfic, it means so much to be noticed by someone who makes something I regularly enjoy. I'm rereading Daybreak's Crest whilst I'm writing and there's so much to love, honestly.

If you've been following Daybreak's Crest, I'm afraid I'll have to put that on hiatus for time being. I've been feeling unmotivated to write so I think I'll need to take a short break from it for now. I'll hopefully be back once I have a couple of chapters stored up, but I don't know how long that'll take. (Anyway, time for my annual book hiatus again, because this happens every time I write a book, apparently.) Thanks for sticking around, though; I promise you I'll eventually finish Daybreak's Crest, and that it's not being put on hold forever, but it'll take a little while! (I'm not sure how long, though) Thanks for your patience, everyone!

Take your time okay? Daybreak’s Crest is a really wonderful book so take all the time you need to make it as amazing as you want it to! But please don’t push yourself too much. I wish you the very best of luck with writing the next few chapters~!

Aha, no worries! In fact, you’ve made me think about it too... for a start, the story would be vastly different (maybe) or at least Libra would do a lot less fighting. Gemini and Aquarius would probably be twice as protection, to be honest I’d feel Scorpio would be much less likely to accept Libra and his retainers into their group (because they’d be more of a burden)... and Libra would definitely be at the bottom of the hierarchy of heirs, if he was even there at all. I’ve not considered disabilities in D.C. before, and it would be interesting to explore! Thank you for telling me about your thought — it really made me consider it and about how different the Daybreak’s Crest world would be for the blind!
