@2CrystalScales3183 It is completly normal. I'll give you an example. I used to have a cat when I was still living in a flat. He got really old and died from natural causes. I loved that cat, he was very gentle and loving. When he died, I cried a little and felt sad, obviously but it passed really quickly for me as well.
But I guess, we should be focusing on the good things that our pets bring us, the happy memories rather than focusing on the sad and the fact that they were gone.
It is 100% normal. You don't have to feel a certain way when your animal dies. You don't have to react like everyone else reacts. The way you react to this type of loss is just how your body and mind deal with it. Nothing wrong. Maybe you'll find yourself sadder some days than others.
But at the end of the day, don't force yourself to feel a way you don't naturally feel.
