Is it just me or has BookTok become super toxic over the last year? It doesn’t feel like a safe space to express opinions anymore.  It hasn’t for quite some time 

Going to Unpublish my hunger games fanfic so I can rewrite and include  stuff from Sunrise on the Reaping 

While being incredibly sick, I am watching 'Magic Beyond Words'  the JK Rowling story, for the umpteenth time, and I just thought about something her agent says.  'As a rule boys don't read books by female authors'  and it just occurred to me especially when I think about my own bookshelves, how that is actual  bull. Pretty much all my bookshelves are filled with female authors.  My times, times have changed.

All moved in and unpacked, at my Uni accommodation. First year of Criminology with Forensic investigation degree, is officially underway!

I’m rereading Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince while simultaneously reading All the young dudes volume 1 for the first time.

I’m gonna unpublish ‘The Great War’ and rewrite it all, Harry will no longer be a murder mystery writer and it will be less cringey. 
          
          I haven’t come to this decision lightly. I was rereading it yesterday and I’m just not happy with it. 
          
          It’ll be published again but only after the rewrites.
