You might be asking why I have 2 names. Ayva is my human name, and Allura is my true name and identity. Ayva is just a name my human parents gave me. My parents weren't very supportive or believed my non-human identity, saying that it was just my anxiety and that I needed to socialize more, which wasn't happening. I never felt human. Being a misanthrope also doesn't help. Don't know what that means, look it up. I've gone so far as to hate humans that I don't even want to be considered one altogether. I write fanfiction to show my real character in different movie universes. I write her in anything from the Legendary Monsterverse universe and Cybertronian universe to some of my favorite childhood cartoons and TV shows. Though I mainly write within the Sonic Universe, the movie universe specifically. Through my stories, I channel my real self: Allura. She's not just a character, I am her. The world sees fiction, but for me, it's a form of truth, identity, and survival. I write to process, to escape, to heal, and sometimes to burn it all down in catharsis.
