Stories are like a lifeline to me...mostly the happy ones though. :) Doesn't mean I don't read serious fiction once in a while. But my kind of fiction would be fantasy, mystery, murder, suspense, and humor all rolled into one. Reminds you all of Harry Potter, I know. But no one can deny that through those seven books, we could almost hear and see Harry and his friends living their adventures in Hogwarts. I remember seeing a kid bashing his head against a pillar in a train station once. He probably thought it will land him in Hogwarts Express. That is the power of a story (no matter how ludicrous it may sound or look to the rational mind), and that is the kind of magic I want when I read, and write stories.

My stories are my effort to recreate a world that most of us dream of and regret not having access to. In my own trivial way, I try to jot down my imagination into words that weave my tales. Some of them are also about real people in the real world. Though so far, I didn't feel like writing about people's sorrows and problems. That's mainly because, I feel hopeless I am reminded of my own shortcomings and problems. Life is like a lunchbox where you get an assortment of flavors. I prefer keeping the bitter at bay as long as I can, and try the others. Sounds escapist I know. But this escapism has kept the kid alive in me.

Hope you can meet me through my stories. And I really pray and hope that you all like (love would be awesome though) them. Please feel free to share your views and comments about my work. As long it's not abusive and derogatory, I would love to hear them.

Cheers!
