I've had the chapter of SYA done for like 2 months I just forgot to upload it on here once I finished cause I was struggling with the illustration embed. So...it's finally here. Oops.

          A very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays. For you, I have a gift! Actually, I have two! Except one is gonna be like a week late. The gift is this chapter, and a second chapter I have almost completed. The reason why I have two chapters done is that this was going to be one chapter but as always it got out of hand so I had to make the executive decision a few days ago to split it in two. But…I have a second colored illustration on the way for this technically two parter of a chapter that I gave two different titles to! The second one is much better even though I really liked the colors I chose on this one (Nakanishi was a bit rushed and slightly off proportion which bugs me, plus it’s a very stiff angle).  ALSO before you complain to me, “Ayanokoji wasn’t even in this chapter! Author!!! I thought this was a fic about him!!!” JUST WAIT ONE WEEK PLEASE. THE SHIT IS BEGINNING SOON. I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO EVEN SAY THIS BUT I ALWAYS GET COMMENTS.
          
          Anyhow, I’ll see you in a week. Hope you enjoyed the chapter! I should really be working on my college apps. I have four due in less than two weeks and 7 essays left to write.

Usually I try to respond to all the comments I get but I've realized that Wattpad comments usually don't say as much cause they're not at the end of the chapter where you cumulatively have all the knowledge of it.

Burnout is killing me this summer which sucks cause I have free time now lol

Spoilers: Okay so I keep seeing this comment over and over again on chapter 7 (?) of SYA about Ishioka's expulsion. "How could a White Room student fall for this." Is pretty much the jist of them all.
          1. Ishioka is no longer a White Room student and has not been for five years. In addition to this, it's stated he is in the lower end of his generation. I believe that the fandom's perspective of White Room students is very skewed because ppl forget that Amasawa and Yagami were still the best in their generation. Not to say he doesn't have at least a gen ed college education, but it's true that book smarts do not necessarily translate to intelligence.
          2. Imagine yourself in this situation. You've been friends with this girl for only two months, however you find yourself maybe subconsciously having feelings for her. You know they won't be reciprocated, but on the day you see that love letter, you feel your heart swell with anxiety and anticipation. When you meet her and she takes your hands in hers with a smile on her face, you feel happy. She gets a bit closer, you enjoy the intimacy of the moment. And in less than half a second you find that she has moved your hand to her chest. I'm merely asking, would you have had time to react? It isn't exactly a matter of falling for a ruse, it was something built up on a relationship, and he was ready for some kind of payoff. Add that to being slightly shaken from earlier.
          
          Now I do agree this is one of my weakest pieces of writing in the fic but like come on it's not horribly implausible I think you guys just don't understand that not all White Room students are some hyper capable student in *every* regard. Kiyotaka is literally a prime example that the students were never on equal footing (no matter what his initial "average" scores may say.) The White Room is a highly controlled environment, yet they all end up different.
          
          Anyways that was a bit of ranting too sorry y'all this has just been bothering me so much.

New illustration added to chapter 2 of SYA

Seven Years After is officially off haitus. I don't know when the next chapter will be done but I finished pretty much all of my rewrites unless I make minor edits in the future.
          As such the list of scenes/chapters that should be reread by old readers is as follows:
          Chapter 1- End (Some cool new wording at the beginning though)
          Chapter 3- Second half
          Chapter 6- Most of it besides the first part
          Chapter 7- First part
          Chapter 9- End
          Chapter 10- Last part
          There are new bits of characterization all over the place, but these are the main areas I deemed important for understanding of the plot.
          Thanks for sticking with me all this time, I know my writing's not the best but I like doing this and uploading it for people to see. Love you guys even if I hate wattpad <3

Okay so update. Seven Years After is on an indefinite haitus until I fix that awful story like oh god the plot is a MESS. I realized after writing the assassin AU and actually having like a cohesive plot without holes that my other big fic is just bad.

          Uh yeah, I'm a busy person and I don't really like Wattpad that much so I assure you at some point there will be another update of something (I think I'll post a little two chapter thing I have when I finish the second chapter) but I'm gonna be gone fixing stuff probably at least until the summer.
