Alott is my name and writing is my game... hence writesalott... it's a pun. Sorry not sorry.

I've been a proud nerdfighter since 2011. If you don't know what I'm taking about I recommend you watch John and Hank Green aka the Vlogbrothers on YouTube.

When it comes to writing, I don't tend to stick to one fandom. Where I find inspiration is where I write.

At the moment I'm mainly writing for Chuck, but most of my older stuff is for Shadowhunters/Mortal Instruments cause I kinda went nuts in 2016 and write like a mad woman for a few years.

I often write alternative endings or continuations from the end of scenes type stories. I have them for Chuck, BBC's Merlin, Torchwood, Glee, and Mortal Instruments, and Girl Meets World.

Most of what I write these days are alternative universe style stories. I have these for Chuck, Mortal Instruments/Shadowhunters, Glee, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.

All my stories that are set in the modern world are set in Canada 'cause it's where I live and the only settings I can write with any accuracy. In general all my stories are or include romance. I do my very best to never leave stories incomplete. Even when I'm totally done with a story I always finish it... eventually.

I am a stay at home mom with a baby and toddler so my free time is limited. Before kids I used to write wicked fast but these days writing time is rare and updates are not as fast as I'd like. Please be patient with me. When my kids are in school I hope to go back to faster updates.

At the request of readers, I also upload all my stories on Wattpadd and Archive Your Own. Everything of mine is identical across all three platforms, with some mall exceptions.

I've gotten a couple messages now asking if I want to get art commissioned. Sorry but I have no interest in paying for art work. If you want to make fanart about my stories go for it but I'll never buy it.
