I love dogs, dogs are so much nicer than humans, and they usually let you know in one way or another that they're about to bite, unlike humans. They don't bitch behind your back and they don't lie about being pleased to see you.

I love walking in the rain, especially if I've got nowhere to go.
Winter's my favourite time of year, it fits me, unlike summer when everyone thinks you should be happy. Happiness doesn't just appear because the suns out, life doesn't work like that.

I love my family.

I love reading - Harry Potter, Twilight, Memoirs of a Geisha, Da Vinci Code are all in my top ten. Don't make me choose one. That would be like asking me to choose between my children. It just wouldn't happen.

I love writing. My characters are my best friends and I get very upset if they won't talk to me, even the evil ones. They, and my hubby and kids, rock my world. Without them I am nothing.

I take my inspiration from everywhere - films, television, books, real life. The things that have inspired me most are The Crow (film and graphic novel), The Sopranos, The Godfather, Gladiator, Eastern Promises and anything that involves Roman history.
