I think toothless' tail got ripped off by branches on the way down. Cuz you know the part where hiccup hit a branch and it came back and hit him. You know the tree that was bent over. Probably there. I mean, you cant cause THAT much damage without so much as a scrape

Hi you asked me what I think happened to toothless tail. I think after toothless got hit he fell and his tail got ripped by a rock and when he continued to slide it ripped off more until it came off. Or the rope somehow cut it off
