I have always been the shy guy, the one who would hide behind the curtain when a new guest would arrive in our house or somebody who would never dare to raise a hand if he knew the correct answer to a teacher's question. Maybe it was insecurity or maybe I was just not brave enough. I really don't know. All I know is that I have taken one step forward to  come closer to what I really am. If you would have asked me, "Who are you?" one year ago, I would have come up with the most modest and bland answer possible. I would have said am just a regular guy with regular dreams with regular expectations from life. But nobody is really "regular".



This year, I realized you only come to know yourself when you reach to the realization that you are special and unique, when you realize that you are not meant to be "regular" rather you are supposed to shine your light on this "very-in-pain" world. I realized that everybody is special and unique in their own way. Nobody is alike. Nobody will ever be alike.



So if you ask, "Who are you?" today, I would say, I am someone who can lose everything in this twisted game of love and hate and still believe in the power of love . I am someone who can be scarred and killed by those hundred hooligans but still have enough heart to get up and thank the same for everything they made me out to be. Some people turn bitter after the world decides to isolate them. I choose not to. I am complete. Not perfect, nobody is. But I don't let the imperfections define me. I am everything I thought I couldn't possibly be and I am everything that I thought I am. I am. And I am proud.
