|LONG END OF SCHOOL YEAR RANT|
I have officially finished all of my exams as of 10 am. Tomorrow is my last day, but we will be at a trampoline park all day long. School this year sucked. The beginning of my second quarter, I was getting run down and tired from waking up early and driving an hour to school and back. Then I started back at a school I left 3 years ago. Because it's a highly advanced private school, I felt stupid. I was constantly confused and couldn't figure out anythng. The worst was Geometry. I wasn't good at it in public school, so why would I be good here? I got a tutor and now I'll be finishing off this semester with a D+. I have B in that class now. Biology was really easy, since I took it last year. I took 2 semesters of US history, since I decided to take psych instead of the first semester at my public school. I always confused presidents. Bible was hard in the 3rd quarter because I forgot about old english. English, however, was a different story. We had literature, vocab, and grammar. Vocab and Lit were so easy to me, especially when we read Romeo and Juliet since I had read it the year before. In public schools, we don't do grammar so I had no Idea what to do. Overall, I'm really glad that I made some new friends and that I decided to join the volleyball team next year. As I am nearing the last day, I'm dreading it because next year my best friend is switching schools. She's been here since I got here the first time in second grade. It's really sad. I will be the only girl in my class of 5 people next year. I feel like I really learned a lot this year and I plan to do so much better next year. My birthday is Thursday, so I'm even more excited. Plus, Harry Styles album 'Harrys House' comes out Friday. This year was very difficult and I struggled a lot, but ending up with the grades I have now, really shows how much the public school troubled me. I cannot wait for next year.
