I'm Ash, and I write speculative fiction for Young Adult, New Adult and Adult audiences. (So, almost everybody.)

She's the author of two urban fantasy series, The Book of the Demimonde and The Demon Whisperer. She also has several stand-alone titles as well as poetry and short story collections. 

Ms. Krafton also writes for upper YA audiences as AJ Krafton. Her debut title, The Heartbeat Thief, is a historical fantasy that's a little bit Jane Austen, a little bit Edgar Allan Poe, and a whole lot of stealing heartbeats to remain young and beautiful forever.

Unofficially, I love loud music and live shows, watching historical dramas (especially Bollywood films), and shiny things. I only clean off my desk maybe three times a year (because I think I enjoy seeing what I'd forgotten was on it). That's okay, though, because I love writing everywhere but my desk. I'm a cat person who lives with a dog and I will NEVER look into a mirror in a dark room.
