Yk i just randomly remembered the song "apsara" from janni
Hopefully many of us heard it and i am a fan of his songs honestly, he just rips through his words to makes us feel
So it was all dreamy shayaris for me untill i heard the last para and it confused me
There janni says he belongs to somelse already
I was like whatt? Why i didn't heard it with such concentration earlier so i replayed and listened the same
Then i went to chathpt and guess what i was righr there he says that he already belongs to someone else
So in short janni wrote a whole song about a person who was already commited but found himself admiring another women he met randomly due to her kindness and her angelic face, he unknowingly gave his shoulder for her to sleep, burned his dairy which have his shayari for him(it meant everything for him) just for her comfort as she was feeling cold, gave her his jacket to wear and communicate with her through pictures bcoz of language difference.
He did everything all for him to realise later he is already commited, he belongs to someone else and the fact that girl also felt something for him too and literally left his train for him in the end of song
And no one literaly no one understood the depth of it or maybe i am just overthinking.
So basically he stepped back when he realized but didn't hesitate to let himself admire someone and give his shoulder to them
Isn't that a little disturbing and uncomfortable. Godddd now i can't look at those shayaris the same way i used to earlier.
It is so conflicting. I mean yeah he showed that one can develop feelings anywhere for anhone irrespective of the future or present maybe it slipped from him but the way he stepps back when he realised says somethings .
God just kill me for feeling these songs so deeply specially punjabi songs vo bhi jaani ke. I feel deeply and then keep thinking about that.
I just love b prask and jaani ke gaane.. ky likhta h jaani or ky gata h bpraak. I feel every single word of their songs
