Best Friend to Something More?

My heart goes out to the family and friends of victims from the Lapu Lapu Day festival. All of Canada stands with the Filipino community here and around the world as they grieve this tragedy.

I've recently had the great pleasure of discovering an audiobook of A Dreadful Splendor through my local library, and wow was it splendid. Absolutely loved every minute of it. Olivia Vinall was a wonderful narrator. I read and enjoyed Night Shift years ago too. Anywho, just wanted to pop in and say how much I adored the book. Thanks for writing it.

Hello and thank you! That is wonderful to hear. Yes, Olivia did a fabulous job and I’m thrilled your library has the audio version. I hope you get a chance to listen to The Third Wife of Faraday House! I’m also happy that you’re an original fan of the Night Shift series, those characters are still dear to me. Thank you again for this lovely comment, you have no idea how much I needed this.

It's disheartening when people who pirate stories don't understand the ramifications. Publishing is a business. Authors are passed over because of poor sales. I've always appreciated the engaged audience on Wattpad, but because of readers illegally downloading or even plagiarizing my work, I'm taking down NIGHT SHIFT. The first eight chapters are still available and if people are intrigued enough to want to read more, it's on Amazon (for the lowest price that enables me to not lose money on each sale). Thank you for understanding and good luck with your own writing.

@Deeba0 I'm not sure why it's only available via kindle in your country, but I'll check out my Amazon account and see if I can add the paperback version too. And thank you for letting me know you love the series, it means so much. More soon!

Hey, I'm an Italian girl passionate about languages, reading, and writing! I read your stories, and I believe they have a lot of potential. I would love to translate one of your stories into Italian, and I will, of course, give you all the credit. Thank you for considering this opportunity!

Is your name by any chance inspired by Briggs Myers?

Hi, I have a mini question. Before you write your books, do you have an idea of what sort of mood your book is going to have? Not the theme, not the plot, but the feeling you want your readers to get when they read. Do you plan it out, and then write according to that, or does it just... flow off the fingers? Every time I set up my keyboard to start writing, I try to envision the vibe I want to set, but it's very difficult. So, I wanted to hear it from someone who's books practically bleed with mood and feeling.

@CassieSmythe I always start out with a character in mind. Then I outline. I do a lot of work before I even start the actual book, but that's just me. If you're looking for writing tips I have a book here on Wattpad that has all the best advice that has worked for me. https://www.wattpad.com/story/20348824-write-on
