Huh.
I didn't realize i had that much bottled up.
Its only been a few weeks.
My mask cracked again today...
Just a tiny break.
It seems the closer I get to freedom, the less I can store in that bottle.
My emotions are slipping through and thats a hazard.

Where'd you get the name Lin from?
I assume it's a chosen name and I'm always curious where people get their chosen names.
Is it a character? Someone you knew? Is it short for something else?
I think chosen names are kind of gateways to the mind.
Like- My chosen names are Tango, Jason, and Leo. All of mine are characters that are really special to me (Tango Tek, Jason Grace, Leo Valdez) because my special interests are kind of my most important things.
And you obviously don't have to tell me if you're uncomfortable-
I'm just wondering. /Gen

@Dragon_of_jade Better explanation : Its the last half of my irl name but misspelled. My legal name ends with Lynn but I liked the spelling Linn better, it felt less feminine. I wanted a name that was gender neutral but still reminiscent of the first name i chose, even if i chose that name as a little kid. I like my legal name, don't get me wrong. It just doesn't fit quite right. It also means I can go by my preferred name around my parents and others who im not out to. Let people believe what they want to and all that. I originally thought about going by Ash (first half of my name) but people already call me that and it just sounds really feminine to me.

Throughout much of my life I have suffered this crippling insecurity in my relationships.
A fear that all my "friends" only hang out with me because they feel bad- and that they actually hate me. (Apparently, unfortunately, true for at least one...)
But I have NEVER felt that about you- even though I think that you are one of my best friends (if not my actual best)
I think it comes from the fact that we're online- you have no reason to keep responding if you didn't care, if you hated me.
I am genuinely so thankful for you-
Even though I find it kind of wild (because I didn't think I'd ever make any online friends) you are genuinely the relationship I am most secure about.

@Dragon_of_jade There is no way to display how much I care for you. If I could, I'd snatch you away and give you a big hug, while telling you everything that makes you special. You have very quickly become so important to me, the type of affection that usually takes me months to develop has been developed in just a few short weeks. You're so important to me, and I'd like to be your friend forever if you'd let me.

Me when I remember Im scary good at public speaking. I made people cry... I think its my anxiety that makes me go over the words a hundred times until they're perfect, and apparently the way I talk captures people's attention.
I don't know, everytime I do something like that everyone is astonished that a shy, loner kid can speak that well. There's something people see in my writing/speeches and I don't know what it is. What do you guys like about my fanfic writing? It's no essay but I use a similar process.
Idk just some food for thought, people are still talking about the last thing I did and I wrote that shi in a half coma. It was so late at night and I had no caffeine.

@BirdishInsanity damn- thats me when i remember that i'm the best writer in the grade at my school, a 12th grade teacher was even impressed by it

@BirdishInsanity I honestly don't know what I love about the firelocke story, but it (as I already said) was the first fanfiction in a long time that kept my attention span and allowed me to binge it. It was super good but I don't know specifically what made it so good (sorry)
