What are things that make you want to read a story?

It’s pretty obvious when an author does not storyboard or at least have some overall vision for the plot and characters at the time of conception. It’s a very bad idea when an author starts writing a story and does not know how it’ll end — these tend to be dissatisfying to read.

I’m also more likely to read a story that’s either complete or still being updated regularly. I will usually avoid an author if I notice multiple major plot, character, grammar, and spelling issues — I’d rather read high quality stories than try to decipher a mess that hasn’t been fully thought out.

@BlFan0087 I lost interest in the story so I did. But if I ever do get interested in it again I might pick it up.
