I was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois. I grew up in the same neighborhood as Ray Bradbury, and his books are visually alive for me. My mind sees the places he wrote about in their nonfictional settings. Then, after he draws upon them to create fictional places, I find myself in familiar territory. Let me take you away on a journey through time, and together we will explore the possibilities of words turned into events on an imaginary voyage.
