Brent Stevens has taught writing, film, and literature for over twenty years. He did his undergraduate work at The University of North Carolina and received his Ph.D from The University of South Carolina with a focus on postmodern fiction and the films of David Lynch. He is currently at Hollins University as Director of the Writing Center and the Writing Across the Curriculum Program. His intellectual interests include the American South, British Romanticism, and visual rhetoric. He spends his spare time playing basketball, following politics, and cooking.
