I'm a migraine patient raising some rather independent girls. I believe we as parents r suppose teach our children to spread their wings fly be ready to survive the outside world.... somehow I've managed to raise 2 strong girls as both girls worried bout school or new marriage, me and each other. I teach them love and family is everything  while everything else is 2nd. Writing became therapeutic for me allowing me to focus on something other than the pain of symptoms I suffer from. The migraines r almost every day along w manic depression bipolar. My kids r 24 & 16 :)
