I'm 90% sure my new cat, Willow, has been abused. She gets scared and defensive whenever I try to pet her, tho when I start petting her she rubs against me like a life line. Cant say I don't hate it but I hate why it happens. If you get "angry" at your pet for something and hit them you shouldn't have pets.
          	
          	And this is coming from someone who screams at her dog at 2am because she's been outside, fed, watered, LITERALLY DOESN'T NEED ANYTHING and just bark to make noise. I still never lay a hand on her. But I have actual anger issues and as much as I wanna beat the hell out of her sometimes I don't. It's not that hard. =,3

@BunnyDogNamedCoco3 I have this issues with my dog too, she is fine, fed, has drunk water, and she keeps barking because she needs help to get up, even though she has litterally NOTHING to do.
          	  
          	  But sometimes, she or he just need some love and attention.
          	  
          	  Well, about your cat, she maybe could have some past, or she cold be adapting to the new place and new people, if it doesn't get better after a while, then you should get worried. But just make her feel welcome, see if it helps.

got a new cat to help me cope(I'll put a few pictures in my art book), She's 4 years old and named Willow. Hasn't settled yet.
          
          But I think I'm genuinely going crazy. Last night I was playing with my friend and I swear I saw my (dead) kitten walk up. There's nothing around my laptop that's white that could've moved. Help <\3
