Hey y'all!

SOOO, my scream obsession has come back full force. So, all of my other writing projects are going to be set aside so I can focus on this story idea that I have for Billy Loomis.

It is called 'Bleed for Me'

CelestineVeil

Hey y’all

I wanted to come on here and give a little life update.

I’m going to be taking a short break from posting for a while. I have a really big test coming up so I can get certified as a Medical Assistant, and I need to put my full focus into studying. This is something I’ve been working toward for a long time, and I want to give it my absolute best.

That being said — I’m not disappearing completely.

I’m still working on Echo Location, just at a slower pace while I balance studying. Thank you for being patient with me as I move through this season.

I’ve also made a decision about The Weight of Semper Fi. I won’t be releasing it on Wattpad. That story is still very special to me, but I want to take it in a different direction outside of this platform.

          However… I won’t leave you without something new. ☀️

I’ll be starting an original story to replace it — think spring into summer, small beach town energy, salty air, late sunsets, and a second chance romance that feels soft, nostalgic, and a little bit aching. The kind of love that never really went away… it just needed the right season to come back.

Thank you for supporting me — as a writer and as a person growing outside of writing too. I’ll be back soon, and when I am, we’re diving into something beautiful.

          With love,
          Raina

Hey loves

I just wanted to take a second to say thank you to all the new followers. Truly.

Seeing your names pop up, watching the reads climb, reading your comments — it means more than I let on sometimes. Writing this story has been such a layered experience for me. It’s emotional. It’s personal. It pulls from pieces of memory and imagination and things that sit a little too close to the surface.

And the fact that you’re here? That you’re choosing to read it?

          That matters.

I know this story moves slowly in places. I know the tension lingers. I know the silence between characters can feel heavy. But that’s intentional. The echoes, the boundaries, the almost-conversations — they’re building toward something.

So if you’re new here, welcome.
If you’ve been here since chapter one, thank you for staying.

I see you. I appreciate you. And I’m so excited for what’s coming next.

          More soon.

I have been working on something incredibly close to my heart… and I’m finally ready to share it with you.

Introducing my brand new military romance series:

          More Than Waiting

This series will follow different couples across different branches of the military — each book a standalone, but all interconnected through characters, friendships, and the quiet threads that tie their worlds together.

This isn’t just about loving someone in uniform.

It’s about who you become while they’re gone.
          It’s about identity.
          It’s about sacrifice.
It’s about the weight of loyalty — on both sides.

Each book will explore a different branch, a different love story, and a different kind of strength.

✦ Book One: The Weight of Semper Fi ✦

          Our first story centers around:

A Marine who has always known who he is — until love makes him question everything.

And a woman who never planned on becoming a military girlfriend… but refuses to lose herself while loving someone who belongs to something bigger than her.

They meet at a farmers market.
          They fall slowly.
          Deployment looms.
          Distance changes everything.

And when heartbreak leads to one reckless night that neither of them can take back… their lives shift in ways neither of them were prepared for.

          This book will be:

          • Dual POV
          • Slow burn
          • Deployment heavy
          • Raw and emotionally honest
          • Bittersweet
          • Focused on growth — especially hers

Because being a MILSO isn’t just about waiting.

          It’s about becoming.

This series is deeply personal to me. As a military girlfriend, I know the countdowns. The silence. The missed calls. The strength you have to find when you feel like you’re unraveling.

I want this series to feel real.

Not just romanticized uniforms and airport kisses — but the quiet, complicated, beautiful truth behind loving someone who serves.

More details (including character reveals ) are coming soon.

          Welcome to More Than Waiting.

          We’re just getting started.

CelestineVeil

Hi my loves,

I have something really special to share with you guys.

While I’m finishing up Echo Location, I’ve also been quietly working behind the scenes on something completely original. This new story will be military-based — and it’s one that means more to me than I can even put into words.

As a military girlfriend, I know what it feels like. The countdowns. The late-night phone calls. The missed holidays. The fear you don’t always talk about. The strength you have to carry even when you feel like you’re breaking. I know what it’s like to be a MILSO, loving someone who serves.

This book is going to be raw. Emotional. Real.
It’s going to have pieces of my heart in every chapter.

I want this story to be something that other military girlfriends can read and feel seen. Feel understood. Feel less alone.

          Now, about Echo Location…

I will be working on a prequel

BUT — it will not be my main focus after I complete the first book in the Echo Location series. I want to give this original military story the time, depth, and energy it deserves. The prequel will happen, just a little slower and more intentionally.

I’m so excited for this next chapter (literally and figuratively). Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting my writing. And thank you for growing with me.

Let me know how you’re feeling about:
          • A military-based original story
          • An Echo Location prequel

          I love you guys endlessly

CelestineVeil

Hey guys

Just a little update for you —

Echo Location is officially in the final stages of editing and will be finished within the next couple of days.

I can’t even explain how surreal that feels to say. What started as a small idea turned into something so layered, emotional, and honestly a little haunting in the best way. I’ve been tightening scenes, refining dialogue, and making sure every moment hits the way it’s supposed to before it’s fully wrapped.

          Now… here’s where I need your thoughts.

I’ve been thinking about possibly doing a second book.
Not immediately — but continuing this universe in some way. Whether that means diving deeper into unresolved threads, shifting perspectives, or expanding the paranormal arc.

Would that be something you’d be interested in?

After this book is complete, I may also start plotting another story within the Sam and Colby fandom — something completely new, different energy, different dynamic. We’ll see. I have a couple of ideas floating around that could work for other fandoms too, so my brain is definitely not done creating.

But first — we finish this one properly.

Thank you for being here while this story unfolded. Truly. Let me know what you’d want next

CelestineVeil

Hey loves,

I need to tell you about Echo Location.

After sitting with the story for a while with how it is currently, rereading old chapters released and unrelease. I have been really thinking about where it is going... I have realized something VERY important. Somewhere along the line I have lost the plot...

The heart of the story? Still there.
The characters? I still love them to death.
          But the direction? It shifted.

Instead of forcing the updates that do not feel right to the story, I decided that i will be rewriting some chapters of Echo location.

I want the pacing to feel intentional. I want the emotional arcs to hit the way they are meant too. I want the tension, the growth, and the moments to make you fall in love with it in the first place to actually matter long-term while reading this book. Right now, it doesn't feel aligned with the original vison that I had for this book coming into writing it. Which you guys deserve better than a story that feels lost.

So, over the next little while, you may see chapters being edited, replaced, or slightly restructured. Some scenes may change. Some details may shift. The core story will stay the same — but it’ll be stronger. Clearer. More focused.

Thank you for being patient with me while I get this back on track. Truly.

I’d rather take the time to rebuild it properly than keep moving forward in the wrong direction.

We’re fixing Echo Location. And it’s going to be worth it.

CelestineVeil

Hey.

I know I kind of disappeared for a minute, and I owe you all an explanation.

I am so sorry I haven’t released any new chapters for Spare, Friends, or Echo Location. Life has been a little overwhelming lately. I’ve been deep in job searching and studying for my exam to become a Certified Medical Assistant. And today… I have an interview.

It’s a huge step for me, and I’ve been putting a lot of my focus and energy into building my future. As much as I love writing (and I truly do), sometimes real life demands more from me than I expect.

That being said — I miss my stories. I miss these characters. I miss you.

I’m going to try my absolute best to start releasing new chapters for each book soon. Even if it’s slow, even if it’s one at a time — I don’t want to abandon these worlds we’ve built together.

For Echo Location specifically… I’m going to be honest. I feel like I’m losing motivation with it, and that scares me. I care about that story so much, but lately I’ve felt stuck and unsure about where to take it next. If you’re still here, still reading, still loving it — please know that means more to me than you realize.

Thank you for your patience. Thank you for sticking around. And thank you for believing in my writing, even when I’m struggling to believe in it myself.

          I’ll update you all soon.
Wish me luck on my interview.

CelestineVeil

I’m currently revising the next few chapters of Echo Location to make sure everything flows smoothly and fully matches the vision I have for the story.

I want to make sure each chapter feels right before releasing it, so thank you for being patient with me while I fine-tune everything. New chapters will be out soon.

          — Celestine

I’m excited to finally share that I’ll be releasing a few chapters of a brand new fan fiction called Echo Location.

The release will include the Prologue, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2, with Chapter 3 coming later once I have the time to finish writing it.

For now, Spare will be moving to the back burner while I focus more on Echo Location and Friends. I really want to put my energy into building these stories and giving them the attention they deserve.

If you’re part of the Sam and Colby fandom and looking for a well-written, immersive Sam and Colby fan fiction, you’ve definitely come to the right place. I’m incredibly excited for you all to experience this story and the world I’m creating.

Thank you for your patience and support — it truly means everything as I continue working on new content for you all.
