"We are all apprentices in a craft where no one ever becomes a master." -- Ernest Hemingway.

When it comes to my writing, as Hemingway so genuinely put it, I was not, am not, and sadly, will never be a master. I'm not looking to master, because A: mastering would mean perfection and perfection is a made up thing, and B: once you master, there is no more to explore, and I hadn't planned on stopping anytime soon.

Moreover, I write for satisfaction. Yes, like any human being, satisfaction of others, about which I still don't fully understand why we care so much. However, I write more for my own satisfaction and catharsis. The saddest people have the brightest smiles, and I admit wholeheartedly I am of those. So frankly, and getting to the point, I need this to keep and gain the little shreds of happiness that I can get, and maybe, with a little consideration and work, I could give you a bit of it too.
