Just beat Canto 7. I am in tears. Don Quixote boss fight was peak. Got stomped in the final phase my first attempt and in my second he killed everyone but Manager Don, Prince Meursault and Princess Rodion. Definitely my favorite boss so far.

Now that Canto 9 is finished. Can you tell me what's your thoughts on it? It's strengths and weaknesses, and what depths or parts of character you wanted more.

I unfortunately have not played it yet as I am only on canto 7. Trying to stay mostly spoiler free so all I know is that Gregor and Sinclair get a power boost.

@HaianhNguyen218 Honestly, not sure how I'd fit this all into one chapter.

Hey I have an id'ea(...yeah it a pun sue me) so we know y/n won't get IDs like the sinners will...so will he get weapons instead? Like for his IDs he will get like a charge weapon? Or like a burn type weapon instead, cuz I can imagine that spear that belonged to the panther can be used for a poise or bleed effect

brandon01719

@HaianhNguyen218 I honestly see y/n ego more of a passive one than offensive, based from what I saw in the new chapter, it seems like his ego will be a defensive/passive or a counter type one, not all egos are offensive in the normal sense, it basically like getting a stand from the world of Jojo, but more trauma and mental breakdown involved

HaianhNguyen218

@CrookedConnoisseur well i guess the only option left is make it part of his EGO

@HaianhNguyen218 The problem is getting Y/n's hands on a GOOD gun. Regular guns and bullets don't mean shit when they're either negated, deflected, or straight up miss. It's for that reason that many characters just don't use guns unless they're a part of E.G.O gear or amped by some serious tech from the Wings.

The LCB (The Sinners) never stay in one place long enough to have one made, and any corporation that has good firearms just straight up won't give them to a guy that works for someone else.

Limbus Company could have something made, or maybe give Y/n some of the firearms that the LCA uses, but why would they when they don't even give the Sinners a proper budget?

As for taking them from a defeated foe? There are only two enemies of note who use guns as their main weapons. Gubo, whose gun is a part of his E.G.O Gear. And Thumb Soldatos. Who, by the way, lose them once they get to a higher rank because it's more effective to use the propellant ammunition with a melee weapon.

Didn't mean to be rude. Guns just suck in Project Moon for some reason.
