Tonight, I'll be re-watching the move Passengers with Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence again. It's one of my favorite sci-fi romance mashups. It also poses some thought provoking and polarizing questions.

If you were alone on a starship that wouldn't make to its destination during your lifetime, could you live the rest the of your life alone?

If you discovered that you could wake up someone else to keep you company knowing that it would likely be a death sentence for them, would you do it anyway? Imagine if Castway's Tom Hanks never had Wilson?

Would you be able to forgive them if you were the one that had been woken up?

What's your favorite book or movie about forgiveness?

CuriosityAddict

@JELyrica I actually saw that on Netflix. I think it's directed by David Lynch.

My favorite movie about forgiveness is an older one, “The Straight Story” about a man named Alvin Straight who drove across 2 states on his John Deere lawn mower to visit his dying brother. It’s amazing and very well made. Stars Richard Farnsworth and Sissy Spacek

@Spiceseeker While she did already kind of run the gamut of emotion when she got mad at him, that might have been entertaining as well.

Random, I don't know if you're active here. Is it a fire rainbow in your profile picture? Nevertheless I hope you're doing okay and stay safe!

CuriosityAddict

@preciouspearl20 No bother at all. Glad it piqued your curiosity!

@CuriosityAddict Woah, thanks for the clarification. It's looking like Circumhorizontal arcs which are deluded as fire rainbow. That's why my curiosity piqued. Anyways sorry for the bother. Thanks, you have a nice weekend as well! :))

Thank you for saving Siren’s!! I hope you like it!

Oh! I hadn’t heard of that one! I’ve read a couple of fairy tale retellings on Wattpad that I’ve liked a lot though

@JessEubanks No worries, I'm fan of twisted tales. For example, I thought the Tin Man series was a twisted but fun take on the Wizard of Oz.

Eek! Now I’m nervous, lol!! It’s pretty twisted from the real versions. Hopefully, you won’t be disappointed

As many of you are already aware, there are Plotters, Pantsers and Tweeners.

Plotters write using a pre-planned and detailed outline.
Pantsers write spontaneously by the seat of their pants.
Tweeners alternate between both of the above methods, not exclusively subscribing to one more than the other.

Even traditionally published commercial fiction authors exhibit all these. There is no one right way, there is only the way that works to enable you to get your story out and in a consumable form to the masses.

Authors: Which do you consider yourself?
Readers: Were you aware of these distinctive terms?

CuriosityAddict

@JELyrica Yeah, I need some structure to begin even if it's as simple as beginning, middle and end. Then it organically grows to be much more. I don't plot the whole time and sometimes I have an inspiration shower which makes me just want to get those unstructured thoughts down! Worthy was definitely worth reading but you don't need to tell you that!

@CuriosityAddict - what I’ve written was completely pantsed. It was a like a huge memory download. However if I want to continue doing this writing thing I want get to a tweener scenario. Proper planning and outline will really help my brain keep things in order. Ive been seeking edits and feedback from other authors and wowzer has it ever been pouring in. I’ll be editing Worthy soon.

What if you were given the ability visually see proof of love in your dating or marital relationships? What if that meant that you could also know when it had departed or was never there to begin with? Worse yet, what if it was the same for hate?

These are only part of the daily struggles that Dusk must contend with in An Odyssey of Hope.

An Odyssey Of Hope is now complete. If you were among those waiting for all the chapters to become available before you began reading, consider that wish granted! Once you start though, don't blame me if you can't go to sleep tonight. That's why I did it on a weekend.

If you really like a particular part, don't be shy! Reach out, vote, comment in the work. Your feedback matters. I intend to show my appreciation by taking the time to reply and deliver frequent updates. Since this is a series, your feedback on this first book might even improve the next one too!

I want to know your favorite chapters, characters, what if anything made you laugh, cry or feel anything. When something doesn't make sense to you or ring true in your own experience, let me know. While it is fiction, I did do research while writing it but almost no one gets everything right in their first attempt.

Hi Matthew! I just wanted to pop by and say thank you for following me! I really hope you enjoy my book if you get the chance to read it. It’s a contemporary romance called Just Press Send. If you ever want to chat please message me or comment on my book– I love to talk about reading or writing! Have a great rest of your day!

CuriosityAddict

@NikkiPierceBooks Thanks for dropping by! As my series has fair bit of romance and relationship drama in it too despite it's science fiction based premise, I may do as you suggest. Whether I'm reading or writing, both help me improve my craft. Good luck to you in all your reading or writing endeavors.
