I was born and raised in South Africa, where I still live with my family. My school friends describe me as pleasantly calm, but my family disagree and say I am slightly eccentric and animal crazy. One of my hobbies is writing, a pastime  I have enjoyed  since as long as I can remember. I started with writing poetry, but later gained an interest in writing romance novels. My philosophy is that stories can be found everywhere, and I take it upon myself to draw inspiration from around me when I write. I also love reading, especially classics. There is something magical about the past that just draws me in. Sometimes I find myself thinking that I am being a bit air-headed like Anne of Green Gables, or as stubborn as Elizabeth Bennett. Louisa May Alcott is my greatest inspiration and I aspire to become as good an author as she was.
